TRC Telecom Launches New Tandem Switch

Kerrville- Curtis Hunt, president of TRC Telecom, a Kerrville-based wholesale carrier and switching Services Company, announced today the installation of a new Tandem Switch in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Albuquerque switch is the third switch the company has deployed in as many years, and is another CSX CopperCom Class 4 LD Tandem. The new switch is collocated with ENMR/ Plateau at 505 Marquette in Albuquerque, NM. This switch offers class four features including Low Cost Domestic & International TDM & VOIP Terminations, Carrier Diversity, 800 Number Service, Account Codes, Directory Assistance with Call Completion, Operator Services, Customized Branding Messages, and Flexible Billing Options. “The switch will provide our current customers with an alternate & diverse Class 4 LD Tandem switching option and provide our new customers with a choice between our Dallas LD Tandem Switch and our new Albuquerque LD Tandem Switch” said, Patrick Tinley, TRC Telecom GM.
